One of my many bathroom thoughts was, “There has to be a place called Leaf Springs.” Sure enough, there are several. I can’t find a specific spring called Leaf Spring, but there are multiple roads in Texas, Tennessee, and California all called Leaf Springs or Leaf Spring. (The CA one is Green Leaf Springs, which probably describes at least a dozen budget brodozers owned by high school kids)

There’s a place here in Alberta called Purple Springs. People have been known to hang pairs of purple spray painted car springs from the sign.

According to Google Maps there’s a Coil Spring in Montana. It’s a few hundred meters from Lost Spring, which I guess is the coil that flew away when the spring compressor failed.
